Please make your cheque payable to MBNA EBL and remember to write your card number on the front of the cheque in the top left-hand corner. Do not send cash through the post and do not send any correspondence to this address. If you have more than one MBNA account, please send your payments separately in the envelopes provided.

Be sure to post your payment at least 7 working days before the due date shown on your statement.
Telephone banking: To use a home banking service, you will need:

Telephone banking payments should be made at least 5 working days before the due date shown on your statement.
Direct debit: To set up or change, call us 24/7 on 1800 409 511.

Direct debit payments will be taken automatically on or after the due date regardless of any additional payments you make. You can choose to pay the minimum payment due, the full balance or any other set amount above the minimum.
Pay at a Post Office: Use the Bank Giro Credit Slip at the bottom of your statement or your card to pay over the counter at the Post Office-wherever you see the BillPay sign. All types of payment including cash should be made at least 5 working days before the due date shown on your statement. Please make cheques payable to An Post.

Transfer balances and get cash
Transfer balances:Log on to Online Banking
You can transfer a balance from other credit cards and store cards to your MBNA credit card. After you log on, select "Manage Your Account" then "Balance Transfers" and submit a secure electronic form to us.

Get cash from a bank: If you need cash and don't have your PIN, take your credit card and another piece of identification into any bank displaying the logo on your credit card: MasterCard or Visa.

Request a credit limit increase
Apply online: If you would like to apply for an increase to your credit limit, access our secured Online Banking service, go to the "Manage Your Account" section and submit a secured request online. Please note that we will first need to see how you maintain your account before we can consider an increase.
