My card was lost or stolen—what should I do?
If you think that your card is missing, contact us immediately on 1800 409 511 or, if calling from outside the Republic of Ireland, on +353 71 965 6262. These lines are open 24/7. You should never disclose your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to anyone, or keep it with your credit card.
How safe is my personal information?
One of our highest priorities is to ensure your privacy and peace of mind by employing the most advanced online security measures in the industry. These include:
- State–of–the–art encryption of all data transmitted between your computer and our secure site. We require 128–bit SSL to maintain the highest encryption standards throughout our site and protect your online account information. We suggest that you use a version 4.0 or higher AOL®, Microsoft® or NetscapeTM browser.
- A unique login name and password system for authentication purposes.
How does encryption work—and what's the difference between 40–bit and 128–bit encryption?
Many browsers offer both 40-bit and 128-bit versions of SSL. 128-bit encryption provides a much higher level of security, as it is more than 3 x 1026 times more secure than 40-bit encryption. Major commercial browsers, including Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher and NetscapeTM Navigator 4.75 or higher, include this encryption software. Online Banking requires the higher level (128-bit SSL) of encryption to ensure the privacy of your information.
What should I do if I suspect fraud?
If you suspect fraud, call us immediately on 1800 409 511. For more information on fraud protection, visit the Privacy & Security section of our site.
